"The week leading up to the first time I met Karina was undoubtedly the scariest and worst week of my life.

It began with an unusual amount of clicking in my left knee, which developed quickly into a terrible burning pain. It then became completely stiff and restricted in movement. Within 4 days, the symptoms had worsened and spread to the entirety of both legs, hands, fingers, wrists and arms.

I WAS BARELY ABLE TO WALK! so stiff, I couldn’t bend my legs.. in a situation where I felt I was very close to needing a walking stick. I remember getting on the tube, and restraining myself from crying the whole journey.. feeling something eating away at my legs, experiencing something truly awful happening. I WAS LITERALLY RUNNING DOWN THE STAIRS.. and as soon as I got home the music went on and I was dancing around like a child in a playground.

Karina is so lovely, welcoming and compassionate. Each session spent with Karina feels like one spent with a friend. She is so positive and reassuring, just talking to her feels like a healing in itself. During the session many sensations were experienced. Intense heat, tingling in each knee.. and then later in the session I experienced what seemed like a bone move or rotate in each knee.

"Thank you for the wonderful and inspiring workshop that I shared with you. I just wanted to give you some feedback about the processes I learned and how much they are helping me.

As you know I was in a very ‘dark place’ at the time. I had been suffering with chronic fatigue, depression and chronic pain. I had become a bit of a recluse in the home and didn’t want to engage with people other than my family. You encouraged (invited) me to attend this workshop and up until the morning of it I wasn’t sure if I would make it. Something told me innately that I had to attend. “Medication no longer needed after atrial fibrillation meds prescribed”

"Following a period of intense stress my husband was prescribed a blood pressure medication, he stopped the meds after a few days due to adverse reactions including excruciating muscle pains, spasms and an elevated need for urination and fatigue, immediately on stopping the medication the pain and urination problem stopped but he was left with such fatigue he couldn't get out of bed and developed constant twitching in his muscles.

She has noticed this on a chair with a wooden back at home too and says that it’s because her spine now does not ‘stick out’ as much. I would agree with this completely, both from looking at her back and also from putting my arms around her – such a fun way to check!

What’s more, when she woke up this morning she said she didn’t have the usual discomfort or pain after lying on her back all night and her spine pressing on the bed – that’s an amazing change.

Really positive comments are still coming from others too. Today when she was out and about, Denise met several friends who all remarked on how well she looked.

Even more extraordinary, Denise went to the dental hygienist this afternoon and for the first time in years could lie back in the chair without needing pillows under her neck."

“No longer plugged into oxygen 24 hours a day”

"Age 29 I was diagnosed with sarcoidosis because of unsightly lumps on my legs. Symptoms including fatigue and respiratory problems fluctuated over the years and eventually three years ago (age 58) I had to start oxygen therapy.

By the time my dear friend pointed me in the direction of Karina’s SCH workshop I was totally dependent on oxygen 24 hours a day and I pulled it behind me in a trolley when I went out. I literally arrived with my baggage! (But of course I wasn't aware of that on a conscious level at the time)

I walked out a free person with choices and optimism and can look back at my old self with love, acceptance and compassion.

The emotional changes are deepening and strengthening. I just wanted to give you a quick feedback on using Permissioning. Yesterday I had an operation that required intravenous sedation. Prior to this the nurse warned me that it would not be possible to go ahead with the operation if my blood pressure remained high. I was getting readings of 148/110 and higher, despite taking blood pressure tablets. I wanted the operation to go ahead so for the past 2 weeks I have been using the Permissioning techniques.
