The ancient wisdom of the Vedas (3000 BC) mentions chakras (wheels in Sanskrit) in the body. These are multi-layered energy vortexes in the body that govern the organ, nerves and glands, muscles in the particular area i.e. working on one chakra works on the organs, glands and nerves in that area in one shot!
A healthy chakra system gives rise to a healthy mind, body and heart (spirit), making us feel alive, happy to get out of bed, unfazed by challenges and bouncing back rapidly from crises.
We are balanced, grounded, stable, steady and capable of educated risks and choices when our chakra system is healthy.
In this Venutian year, we will want to make a lot of choices for ourselves that make us feel better, empowered, healed and loved.
There are four parts to a chakra healing:

Bringing the chakras in alignment with each other (depending on the trauma and pain a body part might have gone through, the chakra could move out of position. Slouching, for example, derails both the throat and heart chakra)

Cleaning and clearing the chakra of the debris, gunk and gook that may have gotten stuck there

Balancing the chakra. As wheels, chakras spin both ways - clockwise and anticlockwise. They can be closed or open or even too open. One chakra can overcompensate for another weaker chakra. Balancing the chakras brings them into an even harmoney (hey, that is purposely spelt that way!) so ALL of us works perfectly with all of us!

Strengthening the chakra
The Foundation Chakra holds all our safety programs and works closely with Kidney essence. It’s state decides how safe we are with family, friends, socially, money. The more unsafe and fearful our lives have been, the more we want to check out of the body, the more depleted our kidney essence - our root chakra weakens. These would also include prehistoric (ancient past lives) fears and ancestral (tribe) trauma.
Ungrounded means we are not firmly planted on Earth and there has been such deep trauma that we want to check out of the body - the body will immediately add weight (heaviness) to keep us within. There is no younger, wiser, sexier body possible without a strong and healthy root chakra that then holds all the other chakras in place.
Unsafe is another word for threatened is another word for stress. That is why we are impacted so badly in health and wealth when stress levels stay high over time. What we are aiming for are all the beautiful bebegits of being safe - Better sleep, greater energy levels, optimal metabolism, strong muscles and will power, bare minimum sugar cravings, clear thinking, pro-active days.
